Development Insider: What exactly is KaminoMC?

Hello there, and welcome back to another edition of development insider! I'm judedude220, and today we will be taking a look at what exactly KaminoMC is. What is KaminoMC? KaminoMC is a Star Wars based Minecraft server, creating unique experiences you wont find anywhere else! With our advanced features, such as the Force. To never before seen single player experiences in the Star Wars Minecraft space. What are these single player experiences? Our single player experiences are truly unique. Something no one has done in the Star Wars Minecraft Space until now. Single Player allows us to craft unique story's, that you just can't achieve on multiplayer. We are calling it "Story Mode". This gives us the opportunity to tell our own Star Wars story's, and for you to experience them. Our headliner story is set during the reign of the Empire. While we don't want to spoil it too much, I will tell you that it does involve the Force. I am super happy with how it is turning out so far, and can't wait for you to play through it! Are there more stories planned? We have several ideas, and stories we want to tell. Whether it be set in the underworld, or at the heights of Coruscant's skyline, we want there to always be something new for you to experience! While our primary focus is on our headlining story, I have several ideas brewing.

What about multiplayer? The whole point of a Minecraft server is to play with other players, and you will most certainly be able to. Whether you want PVP, PVE, Quests, or just want to explore, we have it! "Free Play" will allow you to explore the galaxy with friends, or take a nice stroll through Mos Eisley yourself. With planets like Naboo, and Tatooine we will have several quests, both short and long ones. Simple and complex. You will be able to buy items, such as blasters and even your own speeder! Did I mention Pod Racing? Because we have that too. Free Play will allow us to do all kinds of things! The possibilities are really endless, and that makes it exciting. What planets will we see? Our planet lineup is anything but small. Free Play will feature large maps, such as Tatooine, Naboo, and Coruscant, even a Space Station. Story Mode may also feature those planets, but also custom ones such as Kendoro, and a few others. Lastly, what is the goal of this project, and when do you see it being released? The goal is simple, we want to create a fun and unique experience in the Star Wars Minecraft space. We have lots of ideas, and this is our way of making them. It all comes down to our enjoyment of Star Wars. If we didn't like it, why would we be doing this? As for a release. We did a beta last summer, which helped us work out a few issues on things we developed. Now that we have everything we need, progress on the final product is beginning, and should move rather quickly. We don't have a set target, but we do intend to have a beta out sometime this year.
