Development Insider October Issue

Hello There, and its time for another addition of Development Insider! Incase you aren't familiar with Development Insider, it's a monthly article going into what we've been working on in the world of minecart, whether it be Builds, or actual dev work. Last month we hopped out of KaminoMC and into the making of our booth at Coaster Con. But that's over now, time to sit back engage the hyperdrive and head to Tatooine!

The Rise of the Underworld: Tatooine

Lets get the boring part out of the way. Recently we help a vote on our discord server about a server feature. What feature? Moving around Tatooine could get a bit difficult, especially when an Imperial officer is telling you to locate Director Krennic's cape, because he lost it. So we asked if you'd prefer waypoints, so when you start a quest it'll tell you where to go by following things on the ground, I don't really know how to describe it. Or if you'd prefer Coordinates. You voted Coordinates! So guess what, you have to press F3 every time you except a quest! I can't imagine anything worse. But that's now actually happening, we found a solution that would work. You can check it out in the image below.

If you don't like to look at that, and prefer to use F3, you can disable it of course. Now on to the exciting part, Quests!

We recently started our Beta map, which is the map that'll open to you during Beta Testing, which will take place in the coming months. So we started adding quests, and we have some things to share with you.

We have several quests being added, and we have one of our first to show you. Just a heads up this one was done a few weeks ago, and still needs tweaking, but its a basic quest that you'll find.

Most Quests will be given out by NPC, although we will have Daily Quests, and are even working on bounty quests. But most of the time you'll walk up to an NPC, and get roped into doing a job or two. The quest we are sharing today is a Locate and Takeout type of quest, that's what we call it.

Why should I show you images of the quest, when I could just show it to you? Lets hop in game and take a look, enjoy!
