Hello there, and welcome to the April addition of development insider. Let's begin, first off this addition will be focusing on the progress of Ferrix. Unfortunately we did not get too much done this month, so this will be a bit short. Lets start of with something I was excited to build, the Anvil/Clock tower on Ferrix, you know, this guy?
We started off by building the base, as you would with any building. It was actually quite easy to do, we had to different designs, and we chose the one that looked best. Sadly we have no images of the base designs to show you, but we do of the tower.
We wanted to get the tower just right, as its the highlight of our map, and is the tallest structure besides the hotel. We went through a few designs for the base of the tower.
As you can see they didn't look great. And we tried another one, and attached it to the base, and you can see it didn't turn out just right...
Finally after about 3 weeks we finally got the right look, and I have to admit I like it, although its not perfect, its as good as you can get it without using models.
We can't wait for you too see this your self in-game! We also were working on more of Rix-Road, and doing some rough ideas for interiors.
