Development Insider: A New Year

Hello there! Today is leap day, and why not release the February Development insider today. Welcome back to Development Insider, this is our first Issue of 2024. First I'd like to say that January marked 1 year of our Tatooine & Ferrix development, and we've made significant progress since then. Second, I'd like to thank everyone for remaining with this project for the past Year and a half.

To start todays Issue, I'd like to say that KaminoMC is projected for a opening this year! 2024 will mark the 2 year development of our Star Wars server, and it would be fitting to release it all to you. With that out of the way, lets share what we've been working on!

The past 2 months we've been working on Gameplay features. This has included weapons, the server story, and decisions on how certain things in the server should work. Let's start with Blasters! We recently completed a test blaster, the DC-15. This is not the final product.

The blaster may seem basic to some, but we have much more planned for this blaster, along with others! Playing as a bounty hunter? You'll have a wide variety of blasters, all with different abilities. Now moving onto the server story.

If you've been around since we first started development on the server, you may have remembered Kendoro. Kendoro was a planned, custom built planet with a large town, Kyber mines, and a Jedi Temple. Today I'm happy to share that Kendoro will be returning in a different capacity. When you join the server, you'll get to choose between being a Jedi, Sith, or Bounty Hunter. Each choice will give you special abilities, such as the Force. Each unlocking their own quests, planets, weapons, and more. As you play the server you will walk through a story line, with the option to also play side quests. Each story will be unique, fun, and have a level of difficulty, unlocking new abilities as you progress. That's all I can share for now, but stay tuned in the coming months for more details.
